Finally our day has come. Unspeakable happiness tinged with sadness as we took our final march out into the parade square thinking, "this is going to be our last one, no more rehearsal liao." The final cheer, bittersweet. No more chiong-ing as a company because some people will leave us due to their PES status, and others will defer to study, work overseas. This is really the last time we will see the whole company together.

After that we boarded the plane (flying SQ). Flight took about 4 hours 20 mins (I think) and we touched down at about 3+ in the morning.

It's pretty cold here in Taiwan. Our R&R is slightly dampened(not to mention shoes too) since it's been raining since morning. Whenever our company goes out, it's sure to rain, even if it's R&R. Still haven't found my shoes but I just got a jacket and a shirt. Hopefully shopping gets better at Xi Men Ding tomorrow muahahahha. Be back soon with post Taiwan updates!

Graduating on that that itself seemed surreal. There's this mix of feelings, happiness as well as a pinch of sadness as I know I'm leaving for good. Back when I first entered Poly, I thought that 3 years would be a damn long time, with plenty of time to spare in between. Remembering those long breaks and days off with my classmates really were something, and somehow, I wish they would return.

Playing badminton in Year One, going to play LAN/Pool in Year Two and having most of our break times in Year Three devoted to completing our projects. Not to forget my basketball buddies and Sentosa Class Trips... Ah, those were the days...

*Wipes a tear*

But as always, we can't change the past or return to it because even we did return to it, the feeling would be different already. So I'll always remember the people in my class (okay, maaaaybe I'll forget some =X I'm still human after all) but the bottom line is I'll always look back and say "I miss my class... My Poly days rocked."

Thanks MB0401, for letting me be your class rep, and the memories you left that stay etched in my mind.

Hello Everyone! I'm back from an extremely long hiatus because of my computer's inability to upload files of any sort, and it's just going to be a photo log of sorts.

The Donut Craze

After hearing so much about the much acclaimed and highly coveted donuts from Donut Factory, I went to queue for the first time. As a virgin, I had someone who was more experienced(Kenneth) to guide me a long for my very first time... Time taken for us to reach the counter was about 3 hours, cause I reached at like 1030am.

After 3+ hours, I see the fruits of my labour.

And they look like this,

One each, 12 out a total of 15 flavours.

One bite into the donut and you'll be sold. Top on my list are Strawberry Heart, Orange White Chocolate and Double Chocolate (even though I dislike the dark chocolate inside, there's white chocolate on the outside!).

So hooked I was, that I went to queue a second time. And guess who joined?

Caught 28 Weeks Later in the afternoon.

Verdict? Big mistake. Being something of a cross between Resident Evil and S.W.A.T, the 'zombies' who actually are still living (instead of being undead cause they don't die before they start munching on their friend beside them) and are up a level than those in RE. They can even run and chase people from so far. RE's only stumble along, and moan. But if i didn't know better, the chase scenes with alot of people chasing the live humans could double up as an ad for, I don't know, Nike or Adidas. They seriously run and move a lot.

This bunch of virus infected assholes scream and erm, even have some form of conciousness (in view of the Father chasing his kids down, just so he can show them some love through biting). Also, they transform rapidly (eg: 3s - 1 min?) without the need to be dead in the first place. Being called the Rage Virus, those zombies are really, really angry. I mean, who wouldn't, being bitten so many times and spewing blood all over the place.

So what's good in this film is there's blood. Lots of it. I mean, would a DOTD themed show be such without blood and gore? And there's cool snipers.

What sucked was, well, basically another virusman-bite-human show, with no heavy plot. Hell, even RE had the Umbrella Corp. This movie is simply just scenes on biting, running and scare tactics. And I suppose to make the audience 'feel' for the movie, kids that don't listen even though they know the consequences. Watch only if you have extra money to spare, or getting a girl to scream and hug you when those zombies appear ;)

The internet disruption lately has been disrupting our lives. Not to mention since the bosses are not around, I'm in the slacking mood, ready for the New Year. I don't think this post has much importance as it's just a very outdated one. But nonetheless there are pictures.

This car belongs to an investor that contacted my lady boss to do a children's book. The book seemed way to deep for kids at 6 years old but apparently my cousin of 4 (or is it 5?) reads books that are more intellectually draining.

This investor talks about 5 million like you turn around, and it's gone. He doesn't live in the real world if you ask me. His bonus can be used to buy property. How can anyone like that like in the real world? Where humans have only 1 japanese family saloon, a 4/5 room flat, eat from hawker centres and have only one iPod. Ridiculous, the amount of money one can earn.

Enough about rich people. We'll talk about something that's closer to our hearts (or stomachs in this case).

Guess what? My old laptop (NEC Versa 2000E) went kaput when my brother played some internet games on it. I only managed to fry the USBs and he managed to fry the whole thing. Good going -_-

I get the feeling that I haven't blogged for a long time. And that people who keep coming back here(no matter how few they are) are pretty disappointed. Haha. So BHB. So I shall blog about how my work status is :D

I've pretty much gotten into the workings of the office, knowing who's lazy and who's not =D Which reminds me of an incident. When I was arranging by post to mail out magazines to advertisers, I came across 2 darker-than-usual magazines. This means TIMES screwed up with the printing(again). Showing them to the designer, and then my editor(note the order ^_^), the editor then promptly took it away from me.

Later on, he went to speak with the lady boss. And guess what? He said he found those magazines while handling post to send out to advertisers. Huh? Aren't such trivial tasks way below the Managing Editor? Would he be handling such tasks? Isn't that the job of the *dun-dun-dun* Intern? Strange way of gaining credit if you'll ask me. At least lie about something which is more possible lah. Like what Wilmer said,

"*John is stupid one."

Right now, I think so too. Haha.

Another incident:

I wrote an article on condoms, and bought samples of them to ~~sample~~ take photos of for the magazine. After I was done, he took EVERYTHING and said something like,

"My wife will be asking how come I brought home so many."

Wa. You have only 1 dick need so many for what? So cheapskate. If it was expensive, it would be justifiable to bring it home. But such cheap items and you still want to bring home. But the designer took the condoms to scan and left them on the table(purposely to get it away from the Editor). But after the moving of the office equipment, it disappered again. Wonder where it went to. We even discussed if we should poke holes in it before 'reluctantly' giving it back to him. 1 more child wouldn't hurt =D

As I wait for my Bleach episode to load, I shall take some time to ~~bitch~~ blog.

My dad just got a N73. When I used his phone to call my sister, I was shocked to hear that his phone's call level was so loud. Cause compared to my max level, it's like double. What made me even more pissed, was that I noticed this when I first bought my phone, and made some time to go down the Nokia Care Centre at Suntec City to have it checked. This is what happened.

Me: Hi, my phone's speaker is like a bit soft.

Counter girl: Okay, let me have a look.

Me: *hands over phone*

Counter girl: *calls the phone, speaks and listens*

Counter girl: It's like that one.

Me: HUH? My old phone the max volume is double that!

Counter girl: It's like that one.

Me: Okay.

Then when my dad got his phone and I tried it out, I got a rude shock.

IT'S LIKE THAT MY FUCKING HAIRY BALLS AH!

KNN I WAS CHEATED!

Basically the people there are supposed to check out your phone, not tell you stuff like

"It's like that one."

Blame it on my stupidity. But aren't those people paid to like, handle faulty phones? Either she simply has super hearing(that can amplify the slightest bit of noise, resulting in hearing a mosquito flying past would be akin to having a Boeing 747 fly past your window), or simply can't be bothered. This is damn ridiculous. Nokia Care has been generating lots of bad rep, and I hope some action will be taken.

Checking through the stuff I REPRODUCED, there was only 1 wrong word(produced, I put product) and other than that, there was nothing wrong. No spelling mistakes. Not even those awful red lines that MS Word uses to inform you of spelling mistakes.

So I guess that when I told you that I couldn't get into a local university, you flipped. You came in and said something along the lines of "I don't care how much effort you put into your studies. Spent so much time and money, and now you come and tell me this, that you're nothing."

Okay. I didn't qualify with good enough grades to get in. Didn't matter that with my PSLE score of 198, I still managed to get decent grades for my O levels. Didn't matter that I'm studying Life Science. Didn't matter that when I entered the course, I'm at the bottom. Didn't matter that I did try to make it. Didn't matter that people with GPA more than 3 are no more than a handful. Didn't matter that local universities usually accept people of GPA 3.3 and above because they are the cream of the crop.

Whatever I've done, it's nothing, as you have clearly spelled out. Your good-for-nothing son, who can only play basketball on weekends, spends almost all the time on the computer and go out, has clearly disappointed you.

Imagine all the money and time you would have saved if you didn't have me. Everything could have been used to finance and make my siblings' lives better. And you would'nt have to deal with a son who was nothing.

So I should move out, not waste anymore of your hard earned cash(as you so blatantly put). I will when I get a stable job. Then you would'nt have to deal with a no good loser of a son no more. I'm sorry I couldn't get As and Bs. I'm sorry I wasted all your money and effort raising this son who is of no use. I'm sorry I can't be the son you want.

Tadah! I got upgraded again! Since Wilmer is leaving the company, which means 1 less person to do the shitty jobs, the buck got passed to me. Now I'm Ping Office Boy cum Writer-for-Livewell cum Logistics. So much cum(No pun intended. Seriously.) With so much work to do eg: Calling companies and ask them to send product samples to us but most likely NOT going to be published so that someone can bring them home, corresponding to companies to arrange deliveries, photocopying invoices, sending out magazine etc, there's hardly a dull moment. Hardly.

Moving into the segment proper, I'm sure this is what you all have been waiting for.

How to Photocopy Both Sides
**************************************************************************
1. Acquire the document(s) of interest for photocopying.

2. If the copier is not active, please ensure it is by pressing the 'on' button.

3. Lift cover, align desired page to copy face down and gently re-cover the lid. Neglecting this step will result in either printed pages with no ink, or when the lid makes a tremendous amount of noise, everyone in the office will turn and stare at you. Including the boss.

5. Check the feed tray to see if there is adequate blank paper. If not, please refill to maximum capacity for other people's usage too.

4. Press the 'start' button. If unable to find the start button, please use the sense called Sight to help you locate the button.

5. Wait for copier to work its magic.

6. Take copied sheet and check against original. If satisfactory, place it aside.

7. Now this is the tricky part. Reverse the page that was copied(because we're doing DOUBLE PAGES), and press the 'start' button on a FRESH PIECE OF PAPER.

8. Once copying is done, examine position and printing of the paper. You have to ask yourself these questions like, "Does it print on the bottom side? Does it print on the side going in first? Is the orientation correct?" because all copiers are not the same. Bear that in mind.

9. When the correct orientation has been achieved, insert the 1st copied sheet in the correct orientation and press 'start'.

10. Cross your fingers that your ~~wild guessing~~ prediction is correct.

11a. If yes, please proceed to 12.

11b. If no, please repeat step 7 onwards until you are able to reach 12.

12. Remove printed(both sides!) sheet and examine your handy work. Revel in its utter complexity, as well as its simplicity of double-sided photocopying. After that, place it aside, 1st page down so that the page order is not disturbed.

13. Repeat from step 3 onwards until all pages of interest have been photocopied(on double sides!).

Note: If your copier has option for 'double-sided printing' by auto feed, you can simply bypass step 3 onwards.

Welcome back to Mr Ping Office Boy! After a week of doing stuff, let's review what I've learned. Because my attachment requires me to list 3 skills/techniques I've learned, I have to start taking note of the things I learned now. Hmm... let's see... I think I'll feature the skill which I've perfected by performing it over 120 times in the office: How to seal an enevelope with precision.

How To Seal An Enevelope With Precision
****************************************************************
1. Obtain sponge(you know those sponges that the cashiers at NTUC/Supermarkets use when they want to take plastic bags) and make sure it's not too saturated with water(not dripping) or unsaturated(that when you rub it no water comes out).

2. Insert desired contents into enevelope.

3. Write/stick address on the front, the right way up.

4. Select stamp with adequete value so that it will not be rejected.

5. Place stamp on damp sponge and press lightly, allowing moisture to moisten the underside of the stamp. This moisturises the dried adhesive and makes it active, allowing it to stick to the enevelope of choice.

6. Here comes the tricky part. Flip the enevelope, and then take the sponge, and slide it over the dried adhesive area in one smooth motion. For this to be done in one smooth motion, the sponge must fufil the above citeria(see step 1). If done well, this step is crucial to applying just the right amount of moisture to ensure maximum adhesiveness, but with minimal moisture overflow.

7. Once that is done, place the sponge on top of the holder and fold the moisturised part down quickly. Make sure that the flap goes down straight, if not excess will be created, resulting in a less-than-perfect sealing that is crooked.

8. Apply pressure to double check that it is sealed and viola! The perfectly sealed eneveloped. Bask in it's apparent perfectness, with a balance of sheer precision and raw moisture!

I'm sure my lecturers who are grading me are going to be so impressed!

10 Things I Did

2. Started on searching for Training Departments again.

3. Continued my address typing.

4. Went for lunch.

5. Came back, recieved assignment for doing 2 columns.

6. More work thrown to me to research on some stuff.

8. ~~Erm.. run out of things to write.~~ Went to toilet to take a dump.

9. Finished up my typing of addresses(about 240 in total).

10. Did some letters for sending out before leaving office.

It seems like the office has very good 风水(feng shui) for taking a dump. Everytime I step in, I feel like defacating. I wonder why..

Okay, apparently my company doesn't operate early in the morning as opposed to Biopolis, which is like just 5 mins away. At Biopolis, the land of innovation and discovery in the field of Life Sciences, work starts at around 8.45am. On my side, I was told 9.30am to 10am would be okay to come in. So I reached at slightly before 9.30am(mis-timed a bit) and had to wait about 20mins before the first soul came in. Note to self: Make sure to reach after 9.45am. What comes next is yes, our favourite section of the post: The 10 things I did today! Hooray!

10 things I did today

1. Arrived at office too early.

2. Read some magazines before starting to search for hospitals in the region(again. Why couldn't Clement finish up more >_< lol)

3. Then got asked by Wilmer to put magazines into the enevelopes, and then asked me to prepare more after I'm done with that.

4. Went for lunch.

5. Started on the letters again.

6. Started to search for hospital training departments for Anaesthesists with the mention from Boss.

7. Mace gave me additional work in the form of typing out clinic addresses.

8. I'm running out of things to write, so this slot is reserved for toilet break :)

9. Um, toilet break?

10. Left office with some free stuff to bring home.

The ride home was the exact opposite from the ride to work. The ride to work was spacious even, with seats for me to sit on the train and bus, which the bus had only 5 people on board from Buona Vista.

The ride back, is pure hell. Bodies crammed into metal tin cans with plenty of B.O. The guy behind me seemed to be emanating such an odour, and I was barely able to keep myself from gagging. Found an air pocket with fresh(er) air to keep the heart pumping. Damn I hate those with B.O. Doors should have a sensor to detect those with B.O. and quarantine them into a seperate container so that they can get a taste of what it's like to inhale other people's B.O.

Maybe they could get really, really irritating, pieces-of-shit, smooth-talking-asshole sales people in gas masks or on oxygen tanks to try to push their products which would be deodourant, to them for the whole duration.

Salesperson: *From behind gas mask* I see you're in this special cabin! This means you have B.O! Give me 5 mins, 5 mins only! Come I show you this new deodourant, very good one! Huh? You don't have B.O.? Then where are you here? Aiyah don't bluff me la, come I show you very good one... *repeats until person gets off bus*

I'm sure this will serve to be a solution(both B.O. and the sales targets of the sales people)

On the MRT was slightly better, no B.O. (or rather, at tolerant levels.) But in the morning 3 guys happened to be standing upstream of me. Upstream as in not upstream of the gene, but smiliar. Being upstream in an MRT means being nearer to the head of the train and your current location. This position results in the airflow that picks up everything and you end up breathing it in. Particularly refers to odour. The 3 guys seemed to smell of a combination of shit, oil and whatnot. Immediately I moved to a position further away and heaved a ~~smell~~ sigh of relief. We should have thought of this B.O. scanner-thingy earlier for our bioinnovation haha!

After hearing what other's said about Biopolis' Supervisors, I'm suddenly grateful for my posting. For my attachment, I simply have to follow orders and do paperwork. It's that simple. And the people are pretty friendly, 2 or 3 jokers around. Sounds fun to be there although the work is pretty darn boring. Let me list what I did today,

The 10 things I did on my first day

1. Sat in for the first meeting at 10+am. Boss asked me to listen and there will be meetings every monday.

2. Helped to bring up some items from Alex's car.

3. Wilmer then handed me my first assingment, to search for doctors from a particular department for a conference.

4. Prepared a package to be mailed out.

5. Went for lunch soon after starting my assignment.

6. Did some photocopying, which required some brain power. Why? The brain power was used figure out the way to put in the paper to photocopy BOTH sides of the paper.

7. Prepared the photocopied paper to be mailed out.

8. Entered new subscriptions, and did stickers to be pasted on the enevelopes.

9. Boss left, then started to read magazines on my desk while chatting more frantically.

10. Left office to meet the rest before coming home.

Swell. I hope tomorrow it'll be the same. No, wait. I don't want it to be exactly the same, but the same kind of trivial tasks to be done =X

Okay so I'm back. Bought a few items which amounted to about RM465 (SGD$199) which I guess is pretty average haha. The attachment postings were just released yesterday and guess I'm going to the company alone -__-"

Apparently the company I'm going to is not faring well haha. And the boss seems like a total bitch(with some real life experinces shared by my coursemates and friends). Swell. And it's six months there, doing something for healthcare magazine and medical confrences.

Here's to hoping I don't end up as cheap labour or a office boy/trash collector/coffee boy/scapegoat all rolled into one.

End of exams

It's the end of my exams. I think we pretty much screwed up the final presentation compared to others but hey, it's the last assesment ha. Took some pics which will be uploaded later. The main point of this post is when I was queuing to buy my memory card, some kid was kinda blocking my way. So I just stood behind him(since I'm taller Ha!) and waited. Then a middle aged guy, presumably his father, tapped him on the shoulder and said,

"Eh, let uncle stand. Don't block."

Me: "*looks around* Where got uncle?"

Wa lau eh! I thought only Jasper would get that type of comment =X Haha. Wearing shirt and dress pants really does add years to your age(apparently). I feel so old now, especially that the semester has ended and there are no more exams to be taken cause I'm leaving the education system.

Suddenly I feel that studying beats working. Cause when you study, there's always that goal there for you: Pass the bloody module. When you work, there seems to be no goal. You don't do well, there's no "It's only 20%/30%. Work harder for the final exam la." There's only "I screwed up. No more promotions for the next 3 years." The icing on the cake is when you finally work to support yourself, and when you lose your job, you go hungry! Wow! Haha. Erratic post again -__-

Haven't been updating for a while because of PCT exams and project due date. The test ended on Thurs and the following Monday we had to present the thing already. Best part? Nothing started. So after the test we all rushed and in the span of 3 days, completed analysis of company, survey, findings and analysis and came up with a marketing plan of our own.

Then today, instead of starting at 4.30 pm, we started at 6.15pm. Delayed by some question-asking groups from the previous class, who was hell bent on asking questions to the group which had previously asked some pretty hard questions.

Don't understand? Never mind, neither do I. Haha. So here's the post I've been 'writing' for the last 3 days.

N73 Post

I got my N73, but not without experiencing emotional turmoil while purchasing the phone. So here's how it went.

On Sunday we went to the shop(read: Hellx shop, Causexxx Poixx) and changed my plan from Classic to iOne plus under Corperate Scheme(read: CHEAPER rates) by this guy(Mr. Trainee). So basically afert that just asked about N73 pricing and stuff, with trade in of my previous phone. Amazingly, the price was on promotion at $628, then minus $41 for National Day, and minus $150 for trade in, total only $437. I was hooked. Then as we were leaving, we asked when the promotion was ending, he said Friday.

So okay, since there was still time, why buy now?

Singaporean mentality.

We came back on Friday, and when I saw the price, I was in for a rude shock. I saw it was 788 for 21 mths upgrade, 888 for 12 mths upgrade. Right at this point of time, I was pissed.

What the fuck? Trainee screwed up, big time. It's not a matter of $50, its close to $200. Then my dad arrived. Told him about the missing promotion and we proceeded to make noise. The guy on duty even suggested K800i(no offense to SE users, but how the fuck can you go from potentially owning a N73 to a SE K800i!?)

The guy called up Mr. Trainee, who so happened that he's not in Singapore, and confirmed with him what we asked and bla bla. And I was still fuming. Goddammit, if no promotion the phone is ridiculously expensive. The guy said that Mr. Trainee did say it was to Friday, but that was for the $41 discount. The promotional price was only for 2 days.

BLOODY HELL!

People ask you about promotion must say CLEARLY when it ends. If there are two, all the more thing should be clearified because the customer doesn't bloody work there. This is so basic! Don't need a PSLE score of 188 to know that you have to explain clearly to the customer that there are 2 current promotions going on and that the n73 promotion lasts for only 2 days while the $41 discount lasts till Friday.

KNNBCCB. Bloody Trainee!

If you're not qualified to man the counter, DON'T. Don't go and tell customer information without informing clearly about pricing, promotions.

Rightfully so, the manager later went through the various management channels(as the guy said) to get the promotion for us. EBM is in every aspect of our bloody lives.) to get clearance to get the phone at that promotional price. After a while we got confirmation by the manager to let us have this pricing. Then as we were asking about the price again, Mr Trainee didn't mention that $628 was for 21 months upgrade.

Obviously at that point of time, all our phone lines were only 12 months over. How did we know? Checked 5 mins ago. But nooooo, Mr Trainee had to give us the 21 mths pricing and talk like if we purchase the phone we'd get that price.

Bah. I'm sick of this. Just thinking of it makes me pissed. In the end we got the phone for $537, which I personally feel is bloody expensive. What a difference $100 makes.

Moral of the Story: Check with permanent staff for confirmation for stuff like promotions, pricing that a Trainee tells you. Won't hurt, but will save you the trouble of having to make noise because of a mistake the Trainee made.

P.S: After changing my phone, I bought a new pouch. Now I can finally say good bye to the old black pouch! But it does have sentimental value to me even if it has holes all over it, making it look like it's been used for years by a beggar @_@.

3.2 Megapixel Carl Zeiss optics camera. That alone is enough to make you drool. But hell, its $749 WITH plan. So my next option would be N72. Going for about $598 without plan. With plan should be around $400 and trading in my phone, minus $250.

Then I realised, my phone's value dropped to $150.

So when I told my mum I was taking the night bus to Genting, she flipped. I know it's not safe. But what the hell can I do? It's booked. And my friends don't seem to mind. I can't change the bloody arrangement can I? That's like, because of one person, the whole group has to change schedules.

Given a choice, I wouldn't like to take the night bus too.

I realised I haven't been updating my blog recently so here's some random stuff for those who still check back here occasionally(and then have to go to some other blog/site in disgust because it's not updated.)

Every day's the same. Wake up, get to school, sleep in class, come home then start doing up projects. You know those people who said Year 3 was honeymoon?

Bullshit.

Year 2 was hectic, no doubt, with staggering amounts of curriculum to be covered(and memorised for some modules), but hell, isn't that what everyone does?

Singapore's education system as a whole focuses itself mainly on remembering stuff. Like the way back in secondary school, where you studied for one year(taking the final year before O levels as an example), and then sat for 24 hours of papers which determine how much you can remember(and most probably decide the fate of your life.)

So right now emphasis is placed on thinking stuff, with projects and such. But projects are so much more taxing than just plain memorising but the number of modules are the same. It's maddness! And a particular module(Bioxxxxvation =D) requires work more than its credit's worth. 2 measly credits, and we have to slog so much. Every week kena shoot, all because of certain information that companies do not divulge.

Maybe if the workload was cut we'd all fare better :)

So basically this post is happening cause I checked Kat's blog and found that I was tagged(oh, wow.) with something I did sometime back but I'll do it again, cause there's nothing else to do =D (other than DD and MBID tuts)

6 (Weird) Habits:
First of all, I'd like to say I don't have much weird habits(like using facial tissue to wipe the gluteus maximus), so maybe this will be pretty tame.

1. I have to get up at night to go to the toilet. Which is annoying cause it interrupts my sleep cycle.

2. I sit on the chair at maximum height. Doesn't feel right any lower.

3. I click on the mouse(both buttons) at very high rates 90% of the time. Which looks like I'm doing cardio for my fingers.

4. I shake my legs. I mean, who doesn't?(All those who reply you don't, I won't entertian you. HAHA)

5. I always glance at the ceiling when after I get settled down into a spot in the lift. Don't know why.

6. I tend to zip my pants at the sink.

So there. 6 (Weird) habits. Now, to tag 6 people to do it(so the vicious cycle never ends.)

Exams just finished 1.5 hours ago. Basically what I did for the past one week can be summarised in 10 simple steps, starting from Sunday afternoon.

Common Test Workflow
1. Start studying in the afternoon(and fail to do so)
2. Try to study in the evening(and fail to do so)
3. Study at night(and run out whenever there is a goal or commentator gets excited.)
4. Sleep in the wee hours of the morning(but keep waking up because of weird sentences eg: "BIAS IS CLINICAL TRIAL'S GREATEST ENEMY!"
5. Struggle to wake up.
6. Zombie to school while struggling to retain all information crammed the night before.
7. Take the paper.
8. Eat, cram in school for next paper.
9. Take second paper.
10. Go home, nap.

Repeat steps 1-10 for 5 days.

Note: Steps 8, 9 are done only when required.

Adverse Side Effects:
1. Sleepiness
2. Headaches
3. Bouts of insane outbursts(applicable to before, during and after paper)
4. Erectile Dysfunction(not suggested by me. Haha.)

4/6 Class gathering

Just had a *gasp* Primary 4 class gathering on Vesak Day. Amazing ain't it? Meeting up again after 8 years(for some is 6). And for that, 11 people turned up. I think that would be more than my sec sch class gathering haha. Shi Ting was nice enought of try and get everyone down, and I'm sure it wasn't easy. Hell, even sec sch is bad enough. Haha. But with 11 people AND on Vesak Day, the seating problem was biting our asses. So we waited for like one hour for seats.

*note to self: If a large group wants dinner, make a reservation first. If it falls on a holiday, make a reservation first. If both happen at the same time, make a reservation for the reservation.*

Well, here's a lesson to self:

Never reach the court on time.

Cause when I thought hey, maybe I could just try to come on time for once and maybe they're going to reach soon, I was wrong. Haha. But in any case, this is normal. Haha. Just have to wake up later, take more time brushing my teeth, take a longer bath, drag the selection of clothes(even though I have currently only ONE jersey to wear.)

Speaking of which, jersey got delayed again. What the fuck business are people running now a days. We ordered twice, and twice it was delayed. Machine got stuck? I don't get it.

Anyways, I'm pretty brain dead right now. This morning ~~all~~ almost all the guys turned up for bball. This is good. We even had a guest player(Heng Yong you reading this? Haha.) It's been a long time since the whole team was there or at least 90%? Memory's failing me already. So sad. I feel old.

Haven't been updating much lately, and mostly with weird/funny/plain boring filler posts. So despite being up all night yesterday and today, I shall attempt to blog out something different.

Firstly, I've been running around helping people get laptops, setting up wireless routers and the like. Now I know what it feels like to be a computer repair man haha.

After that went to M.O.S and Phuture last night with the 7 + 2(Nicole's friends). Personally, I prefer the music at Phuture. It's more mainstream and popular than those played at M.O.S. Danced the night away at Phuture(if you consider wildly unsynchronized limbs jerking around 'dancing') and spent a fair amount of time getting banged/banging people. Haha. The music at M.O.S wasn't that high to me. And when we went at 2am to Phuture there wasn't a queue. Sweet.

It's 4am and the club closed. Nicole + 2 made their departure and the rest of us went to get, umm, breakfast or supper I can't decide which. I tried to get myself re-hydrated with ice brewed chrysanthemum tea. Didn't work much, and my throat was still damn dry. So maybe I'll try something else next time. Spent some time waiting for 6am to escape the bloody 50% extra surcharge for taxi fare. In that small amount of time, we managed to ask some ~~really stupid~~ interesting questions or make comments like

"Eh, the star is changing colour."
"How come ah?"
"Maybe cause it's not a star and it MIGHT be a satellite?"

"Every star is a planet."

"Oh, that one is star ah? I thought is the building lights"

This takes the cake though

"Eh! THE STARS MOVED."

Forgot who said that. But no matter, by 6am we were ~~persuading each other~~ deciding where to go. In the end, Linus went home and the rest of us got on a taxi to Bishan.

Once there we hung around until 8am and then bunked at my house. Watched some movie and slept. In the end I didn't catch some sleep cause it doesn't feel right for the host to sleep also. Haha.

So after that dropped by school to buy lecture notes *sigh* before going to Bugis with Jasper to pick up some stuff before coming home for dinner.

Seems like my brain can't take it anymore. So I shall end here. Haha.
